Bamboo Fun!! can you believe it???

So today the hubby and i were going to go see the Other Boleyn Girl. he decided he needed some new ram for his computer so we stopped there first. He decided to get me some too, but found it would be cheaper to buy it online, so we didnt actually get me anything. Then we went for lunch and during lunch he asked me if we could just go home so he could play with his new ram and go see the movie later this week. i said no because i didnt have anything new to play with so i wanted to go see my movie. lol. He then decided to bribe me, so besides going to see the movie this week he also bought me a bamboo fun tablet so i'd have something to play with this afternoon! and i am in love! it came with artrage 2 and pse and lots of discounts on other software. It works like a dream and i'm super happy. Plus i still get to see my movie, so its a win win situation! yay!!!

When the Husband is away....
|
So today the husband has gone away for a conference and wont be home till Friday night! I get to make all the foods i like best for dinner, i'm making Rachael Ray inside out Bacon Cheeseburgers, Spinach and 3 cheese paninis and mexican refried bean/cheese/lettuce/tomato/sour cream roll ups. YUM. Plus at night i get to take up the whole bed and not have my husband stealing the covers. lol. But i'm sure by Friday i'll miss him and look forward to when he gets home. Then on the weekend we're going to see the Other Boleyn Girl, which i'm looking really forward to! I'm still sick with a really bad cough, i can barely leave the house because i get into such coughing fits that its really not easy so i'm working from home on my university work. I'm also getting near to finishing that collab with Flergs that i mentioned so that will be out soon! I just started a new book and its absolutely hilarious. The Secret Life of a Slummy Mummy by Fiona Neill is just a great read. Its written well and any book where the first things talked about are a husband drinking his wifes contact lenses in the middle of the night, finding a half eaten cream egg thats been there so long its petrified, and coming nose to nose with a 1 inch long lightsabre that vanished when her toddler mounted a covert operation in his brother's bedroom and that never actually refers to the husband by name, just as "Husband on a short fuse" is fine by me. Its really great and i suggest it to anyone looking for a good funny read. So thats all for now, ta ta.

Its been one heck of a week. I guess everyone has these types of weeks but i have been sick as a dog! I've had symptoms lasting a couple days each constantly for over a week now. Last Monday, very suddenly i had such a bad cold come on. I've gone through 4 rolls of toilet paper blowing my nose... Now i've not got the sore throat anymore, and my nose isnt running AS MUCH, but i've got a terrible cough and a bit of a headache. Anyways, this has hampered my designing a little, BUT i do have a treat for all of you. Coming soon to both Polka Dot Potato and Scrapbook Graphics, Sugar and Spice by me and Flergs!!! Its in gorgeous pinks, greens, peaches, yellows, blues, and a nice charcoal black colour and kinda shabby, kinda springy, and it definitly has both very me style elements and papers and some of that oh so flergs glitter and sparkle! How cool is that?? I think its pretty awesome, Flergs knocks my socks off and i'm so excited to be working with her. So look forward to that soon, AND my great friend is joining me at Polka Dot Potato!!!! Look out soon for an announcement of just who that might be!!!!!! So ta ta for now, keep scrapping and making the most of your memories!!
