In the Autumn Spirit!
|
Heya there,
lately its been rather cold, the leaves have been falling and its been windy and has distinctly felt like fall out. I've also gotten into a Tart Burning habit, yankee candle wax tarts that is. I went out and i wanted to get all the fall scents but the fall ones hadnt all come in yet, so i just got some normal scents, some christmas ones they had already come in, and the few autumn scents they had in. In all i got:
2 granny smith apple
2 christmas cookie (gosh that smells sooooooc good, lol)
2 autumn leaves
misseltoe
hollyberry
brown sugar and spice
pomegranate cider
mandarin cranberry
autumn wreath
cottage breeze
willow breeze
fresh linens
I was only going to get a couple but my hubby suprised me and gave a bunch of ones i had looked at to the cashier lady when i wasnt looking :) I think my favourite is Christmas Cookie, yes i know it isnt christmas but i burnt it anyways and it smells AMAZING!! totally calorie free alternative to baking actual cookies. Some i'm looking forward to getting are Harvest, Farmhouse Apple, Frosted Pumpkin, Shortbread Cookie, and all the halloween scents including Boo-Nilla as well as i really want a cute halloween tart burner, although i dont forsee us having the extra cash to splash out on a burner. lol. I just got the one i have from my mother in law, when she came back from greece she brought it, its actually an oil burner but i wasnt a fan of the scent of the oil that came with it so i thought it might work well with tarts and it works perfectly. Didnt hurt that like two christmases ago she gave us about 200 unscented tealights, i dont forsee us running out of them any time soon. lol. So along with my tarts, i have been totally getting into the autumn mood, i've gotten out my wool sweaters and wool coat, scarves, and gloves (which i've actually needed a couple times already) and i created this little Sampler for you guys :) I also have an autumn paper pack coming out soon which i'll preview for you guys below! I also made a glitter cardstock pack, which includes 5 colours each in 3 different glitter styles.

Some new products and a Freebie!
|
So i've been busy lately and came out with 3 new products! I've also come out with a freebie for all you guys out there :D
First of all i've got my 3 new products: My doodled flower, glitter, gemstone, and crumpled paper borders, in both Brights, and Pastels. Also my Doodlin' the Date set, hand doodled swirly days of the week, months, with numbers, and date endings like st, rd, nd, and th. 
Now for the freebie. I have created this little set of valentine's doodles for you guys.

okay, so i've got a new phone.
|
Ive gotten this new limited edition girly phone, a siemens cl75 poppy phone that comes with a genuine swazorchy(sp?) crystal pendant and a display that turns into a mirror, a very good one at that, now i'm at odds trying to figure out how to switch it. Everything i see says "dedicated hotkey for mirror" but nothing, not even in the booklets that came with it say what that key is and its not exactly clear as day or anything. I've been trying to figure it out now for awhile and i just cant. Anyone who knows please let me know. lol. On the scrapping front, 4 new kits coming out at Digital Freebies on tuesday. This is my latest...

In my oppinion it is never too early to start thinking about holidays, i am a holiday buff, so I just love getting into the spirit, even if its months ahead. lol.

Its my blogs grand opening! Heres a freebie for ya.

Welcome to my blog. As a grand opening present for all of you i am giving you a freebie. This is an add-on to my kit Kiwi Island which is available at Digital Freebies and Digi Scrap Yard.

As i was saying, i am very excited to be opening this blog today. So i'll give you a little background on myself. My name is Pamela Gibson and in July 2006 i got married to a wonderful man named Daniel. I stumbled upon digital scrapbooking in January after i bought a paper scrapping kit and realized i loved it but couldn't afford to keep up with buying new kits. So i looked into the computer where i was already quite profficient in using photoshop because i used to design clothes in photoshop. By March i started to design when i stumbled upon the Element Kit Gang, which is where i first started to learn how to design. In May i was fortunate enough to get a design team position at Gotta Pixel. I continued to design and eventually got into using digiscrapdesigner to learn new techniques. In June i got a store designer position at Digital Freebies and in August i got one at Digi Scrap Yard. I now am an admin at digi scrap yard as well as a DTM at Gotta Pixel. I would describe my style as clean and simple yet very versatile and lovely. I would also venture to say i have an eye for colour, at least thats what i've been told. I am Canadian but am going to university in England where I live with my husband and my dog Scruffy. I start my second year of university in October where I will continue to study history.
